David Eby on Policy Issues in British Columbia

Today we have a special interview specifically on policy issues in British Columbia. On this episode Guilherme Rosales interviews the Honourable David Eby, the current Attorney General of BC. They discuss his career as a lawyer, as well as what he thinks are the most pressing issues in BC and the policy initiatives he believes will help tackle these problems.
David Eby is currently the Attorney General of British Columbia. Since 2013, he has served as the sitting MLA from BC’s New Democratic Party representing the Vancouver-Point Grey district. Before entering politics, Eby has also been an Adjunct Professor at the Allard School of Law in UBC, as well as serving president of the Canadian HIV/AIDS Legal Network and as a research associate with the Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives.
Guilherme Rosales is a Master of Public Policy and Global Affairs student at the University of British Columbia. He has been a wildland firefighter with the BC Wildfire Service for the past five years, a community organizer coordinating neighbourhood block parties from 2011 to 2015 in the Oakridge neighbourhood area of Vancouver, as well as a labour activist and advocate with CUPE 15 and the BCGEU.
